About the Michigan Storm Chasers
Hello, my name is Ryan, I’m from southeast Michigan and I’m 25 years old. I’ve been passionate about weather and helping people since I was 15. I formerly partnered in running a Storm Chasers page which has engaged hundreds of thousands of people with life saving information. I also am working with a good friend of mine in a research project tornado genesis. In my normal day to day life I deliver packages for FedEx and Amazon and am a father to two girls.

My name is Chandler and I am 25 and live in southwest Michigan. I have been storm chasing since 2014 and out on the plains since 2017. I have seen a handful of tornados. Outside of storm chasing I love the outdoors and golf, but you'll probably find me metal detecting! I also sell cars for a living. I have a servants heart and love to help others!

My name is Alex. I'm 32 years old and I've been storm chasing in Michigan since 2006 and out in the plains on and off since 2010. I studied meteorology at Central Michigan University from 2013 until 2015. I love being outside and love college sports. I currently work at Lake Michigan Credit Union.

My name is Nick, I am located in west Michigan. I am 25 years old and have been chasing storms since spring of 2018. I saw my first and only tornado in Kansas. I've been on the plains twice. Other than storm chasing I work as an electrician with many hobbies such as hunting, fishing, and metal detecting.

My name is Joel and I’m 23 years of age. I was born and raised in Lowell, MI. I temporarily reside in Mount Pleasant, MI where I go to college at Central Michigan University. I’m a double major between meteorology and G.I.S. I’ve been storm chasing for seven years, and finally scored my first tornadoes in 2021 in Jay County, IN. Hope to score my first tornadoes in Michigan in the years to come!
